Ironcyclen Liquid Composition Each L contains iron (as iron amino acid chelate, ammonium iron (III) citrate, ferrous gluconate) 8.54 g, copper (as copper (II) sulfate) 15.1 mg, cobalt (as cobalt (II) sulfate) 4 mg. Actions Mineral haematinic; contains the principal minerals iron and blood building cofactors copper and cobalt required for haemoglobin synthesis. Anaemias due to iron deficiency may be caused by the stresses of training, racing, worm infestations and depleted pastures. Any animal suffering from this type of anaemia has a lower than normal haemoglobin and therefore a lowered oxygen carrying capacity.
