Actions Sodium bentonite is smectite earth which slows the rate of passage of food through the bowel and enables more efficient digestion. It also alters the bacterial fermentation activity and prevents the absorption of certain toxic bowel acids. Digestive enzymes break down food elements into digestible components. Indications Weight gain, improved coat condition and digestive efficiency in working, racing and show dogs, puppies, debilitated or convalescent animals, brood bitches. Precautions Increased bowel activity, soft motions and transitory diarrhoea may occur initially (two to three days). Dosage and Administration Administer daily mixed thoroughly through the food. When mixing in dry feeds, dampen slightly after mixing through the feed. Measure provided holds 6 g.
